CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Tonight Periods of heavy rain move in after 1am with record-breaking warm low temperatures in the upper 60s. 

Rain is likely Wednesday, heavy at times. Highs will be in the low to mid-70s.  

Rain is likely again Thursday with a chance of thunderstorms. High temperatures will again be in the low to mid-70s.  The average high is in the mid-60s this time of the year.

Tropics:  Tropical Storm Eta is just north of the western tip of Cuba with winds around 60 mph.  It is stationary in the Gulf of Mexico and will stay there for several more days.

Sub-tropical storm Theta is in the Eastern Atlantic and is moving east.  It will not be a threat to the United States.
